Pan American Airways Speed Test of 1946

I exhibited for the first time at the Rocky Mountain Stamp Show May 23-25, 2025. The title of my three-frame exhibit was the "Pan American Airways Speed Test of 1946." It received a Large Vermeil and the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors Novice Award.

I exhibited a slightly revised version at NOJEX in September 2025 where it was also awarded a Large Vermeil.

After NOJEX, I reduced the exhibit to one frame to show at Boston 2026. In preparation for Boston, I entered the one-frame version in AMSIPEX 2026 where it too earned a Large Vermeil.

The background to the Speed Test that was included in the three-frame version is now part of an article on the Speed Test that is part of the American Air Mail Society's monograph that will be distributed at Boston 2026.
